Common Questions

Can I cancel a deletion request?
Yes — until you click the confirmation link in the verification email, no data is deleted. After confirmation, deletion cannot be reversed.
What if I can't access my account email?
Email privacy@kochi.co from any address with as much account information as you can provide. We'll verify your identity manually before proceeding.
Does deletion cancel an active subscription?
Account deletion cancels any active subscription. No prorated refund is issued unless required by local consumer law. Cancel your subscription first if you wish to retain access until the end of the billing period.
Will my data be removed from backups?
Backups are rotated and fully purged within 90 days of your deletion request. Your data will not be restored from backup after your request is confirmed.
Can I request a copy of my data before deleting?
Yes. Email privacy@kochi.co to request a data export. We provide it within 30 days in a machine-readable format.
